AMAALA Yacht Club began operations on 14 September 2026 on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. Its opening marks a milestone in the development of AMAALA, a destination bringing together yachting, hospitality and wellness.
The marina has 119 berths and can accommodate yachts more than 100 metres long. According to developer Red Sea Global, maintenance and repair facilities are planned for the coming years. The yacht club will also play a role in the Grand Finale of The Ocean Race 2027.
The destination’s development may be of interest to Slovenian companies with experience in marine equipment, hotel and hospitality supplies, interior furnishings, facility management and environmental solutions. These are potential areas for cooperation; the opening of the yacht club does not, in itself, constitute a procurement tender.
Red Sea Global offers vendor registration to international companies. It states that previous experience on Saudi projects is not essential and that a physical presence in the country is not required for every type of service. Companies interested in working with the developer can begin by reviewing its supplier categories and registration requirements.
