Over the past three days, I had the honor of participating in a government-business delegation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, led by Slovenia’s Minister of the Economy, Tourism and Sport, Matjaž Han, from December 7 to 10, 2024.
The delegation, which included representatives of Slovenian companies from sectors such as digital technologies, sustainable mobility, construction, smart cities, energy efficiency, healthcare, food, sport, and tourism, showcased Slovenian expertise and innovative solutions.
Through a business and investment forum, B2B meetings, and visits to key Saudi projects and institutions, we explored numerous opportunities for cooperation and joint growth. It was inspiring to see the commitment of both sides to building a successful shared future, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
